Women Enterprise Skills Development

Women and girls in developing nations like Zambia have less access to education, employment and other opportunities as they face increased vulnerabilities to all forms of gender-inequalities that have created disparities in information, mobility, decision-making, and access to resources and training. This has affected their ability to generate income. Thus, they are hit the most by the impacts of climate change and when disaster strikes, women are less likely to survive and more likely to be injured. This is why there is need to train women and girls in sustainable enterprise skills and empower them with income to start and manage their own small scale business enterprises.
