Hi, we are the

Kalapula Pamo

Foundation

We are carrying out education and empowerment projects across Zambia.

About us

Kalapula Pamo Foundation is an educational charitable foundation based in Zambia. It was founded in 2020 but only got registered as a foundation limited by guarantee in 2022 by Marrien Kalapula, a Zambian based in the Netherlands and her German Partner as the guarantors. As the name entails PAMO (Unity/togetherness), the foundation aims at bringing everyone on board as one community to help improve the lives of the less privileged people in Zambia through educational support. This is because Educational development in Zambia suffers financing challenges.

The foundation has 5 areas of focus:

  1. Elementary school support
  2. Tertiary educational support for high school graduates (Undergraduate Scholarships)
  3. Advanced Educational support for university graduates who wish to advance their studies (Masters and PHD scholarships)
  4. Enterprise Skills Development for women and youths who dropped out of school
  5. Internships and Traineeships

“I wonder how much education I could have acquired if I didn’t get these scholarships. This has been my motivation to help others” Marrien Kalapula, Co-Founder.

Core values:
  • Unity
  • Compassion
  • Courage
  • Integrity
  • Inclusiveness
